Choosing An Inspector

Choosing the right home inspector is an important part of the home-buying process. The days of having a family member or friend who is familiar with the structure and systems of a home are almost gone.
Most good home inspectors are members of a national organization. As members they take an entrance exam, abide by a code of ethics and standards of practice and are required to do continuing education.
Ask your inspector about their experience both as an inspector and in the "trades". Ask for references from realtors, recent buyers, and lenders. DUANE NELSON INSPECTIONS |
